STORY BEFORE THE STORY:
About a month before this cruise, my girfriend and I broke up, and I was stuck with three choices:
- Not go.
- Go by myself.
- Find someone to go with me.
Well, one of my friends was able to pony up the $300 it cost to change the name on the ticket (Canival Cruise Bloodsuckers), so he got a good deal.
THE ACTUAL BRUISE CRUISE:
Well, let me start off by saying it was a great cruise. I had a great time every minute I was on board. Unfortunately, as far as wrestling-related events go, this was the biggest rip-off of all time. If you wanted to meet the best and brightest WCW has to offer, you better spend your $600 elsewhere brother! They sent along the bottom of the barrel. We got only 4 wrestlers on board with us, and as far as scrub status goes, these guys kinda define it. We got to sail with the likes of Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Disco Inferno, Scotty Riggs, and Rick Rude.
Now, while I concede that Rick Rude is "THE MAN" he doesn't wrestle right now and the newer fans can't appreciate how great he was and actually still is. Anyways, I only took one picture that I can show here. The other being of a girl I got busy with (I said I had a great time!), and I'm too nice of a guy to show her picture off to a bunch of internet wackos.
Okay, even though I only took one picture, there's other odds and ends to show you...
Translation: If you hoped to see some cool stuff you take it in the ass.
Actually, I just didn't bother snapping pics on this trip.
Okay, okay, here it is, and its a crappy pic at that. Me and Hacksaw on deck by the pool.
He's a good guy, and I'm not gonna bust his balls because he's a jobber now, but I'd rather have had almost anyone else there.
The funniest thing about this is that on the drive up to Orlando, Jackie said he'd bet me $500 that Hacksaw would be on the roster.
I'm glad I didn't bet.
Here's my cruise ticket...BFD...
My room key...another BFD...
This is the business card of our taxidriver in the Bahamas.
He was actually a pretty cool guy, ask for him when you're there. I told you there wasn't much for me to show you.
This is a drink token from The Zoo.
The Zoo was the big discoteque in Nassau where most of us went the night we stayed in port. I reccomend going there, we danced our asses off, and had a blast. Lots of hot women workin' a sweat.
I think I saw Riggs there, and if memory serves right, Disco too.
Here's my sail and sign card.
Basically, It keeps record of what money you've given carnival, and you use it like a charge card for everything so the employees don't have to handle/steal cash.
I used it to buy plenty of drinks.
Here's one of the reciepts for the booze. We drank a hell-of-a-lot-of alcohol. I signed dozens of these things.
Whatever.
