November 21st, 2000 If you didn't read the headline tag above, please visit HYPNOTIC.COM. Look around and watch some of the shorts they have there. But while you're there, PLEASE make sure to go to the Million Dollar Film Festival. While you're there, watch Nathan Grimm...It was written and directed by one of my best friends from my college days Steve Ayromlooi. After you've watched it, register with the site and vote on his film...a 10 rating would be appreciated! Joe Rogan has posted some new updates on his website. If you're not familiar with him, I wrote about him about 10 days ago and I have links to him found a few places on this site. He has a link there to another site where they have new material from his stand-up gigs...CHECK IT OUT! Its worth being late for work to listen to. Am I totally nuts or is there something cool about the spice girls? If anyone missed the Howard Stern show this morning they missed one of the most classic bits I've heard from them in a while. Its a "best of" week for the show as everyone took the week off for Thanksgiving. They had a segment on where William Shatner was on plugging some of his books. They all had gay accents and were calling each other by female versions of their names. They were in the homo room dungeon (complete with sound effects) lighting each other's farts, gargling fluids, singing gay songs about drilling each other, giving each other high colonics, playing 'hide the frog', etc.. I can't do it justice by describing it here but your imagination couldn't come close to what they did "down there"...Down where? I'm a little ashamed to admit that I've read a few of his Star Trek books (my roommate bought them and they were always in that damn bathroom) and they're pretty good. Anyways, Stern is actually a big mark for sci-fi and comic books...He used to always talk about shows like Babylon 5 and Star Trek...he's really hot on Buffy and Angel right now (lots of hot chicks in those shows). Great football game last night...at least the first half I saw. I'm glad the Rams lost even though I absolutely hate the Redskins. Both teams played hard and if you're like me and don't like either team, it was just a good game to watch. God help us if anyone thinks Dennis Miller is responsible for any improvement in the ratings. The Monday games have been heads and shoulders above last year and regardless of the actual matchups, the games themselves have for the most part been truly spectacular with big comebacks and close last second winning moments. I'm so far backlogged on watching wrestling, I have like 2 weeks worth of shows on our tivo to scan through to get caught up...it just hasn't been as good lately and other things have definitely moved ahead of it on the all-important scale of importance in my life.
-BT November 20th, 2000 Damn this was a "shit all over me" weekend. Those sonabitch Seminoles won against the Gators. Not that I specifically like the Gainesville or give a rat's ass about college ball but I always root for FSU to lose when they play another Florida team. Why? because everyone who I've ever met who graduated from FSU is a douchebag who couldn't get into a real Florida school and instead spent 4 years puking every night at party-U. I guess if you're going to be inferior to Miami and UF in every other aspect, maybe try to excel in athletics where no intelligence is needed. If you're an FSU alumni or fan and I've offended you, then my day is already getting better. It looks like the Jets and New York in general owns our south florida asses in most sports right now. The Jets could have a 14-2 record under Rich Kotite and those 2 wins would be against the Dolphins. Fair enough, Our starting quarterback Jay "oy vey" Fiedler went out on the first play of the game...not good. I didn't realize a pinched nerve meant you wouldn't be back in playing the next series let alone the second half or the whole game. Huard showed why he didn't win the starting slot...It was a great opportunity to step up and show his stuff. You knew a former dolphin (Parmalee) would have a highlight day against his old team and do us in. I think that's what we were looking to do with Thurman. Well, afterwards, I guess I crashed on the couch because I woke up after missing the WWF PPV and the replay...I guess I'll be catching that along with the UFC matches this week. I've been a little sick of wrestling since Austin's come back anyways. I never got into him like the rest of the humanoids. He's no Ravishing Rick Rude. He's no Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat. He's no 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair. There's more "superstar" in Scott Hall's ass hairs than in Austin's whole gimmick. Weekend from hell aside, I realized how good it is to have a talent. Being an artist you can bet your ass I'm not buying one damn gift for anyone this holiday season. Everyone's getting some little doodle or painting depending on where they rate on the scale of importance. Eventually I'll be getting the portfolio page of this website up for people to buy some originals and prints. I also have some other artists who want to get space here to strut their stuff and make a few bucks. For now, look at some of the new stickers and magnets that are up for sale in the autograph section... Click one of the images below to take you there... Thanks, -BT
November 18th, 2000 Just to quickly touch on a few things... Hard to believe FSU won so big yesterday, they should remember though that Miami BEAT THEM earlier this year and just shut our Syracuse. Speaking of Florida, the Florida election results are still being recounted and the 2 parties are doing their court maneuverings for what looks to be like a drag-out scratch-fight between these two pussies...I think Bush was up by 930 votes at last count. RVD has publicly stated that he has not split from ECW...we'll see. I missed some UFC event last night I'll have to catch later this week...they're nowhere as good as the PRIDE fights. Here's a picture of me with one of the greatest mixed martial arts fighters Ken Shamrock (you can also see the WWF's Road Dogg in the background). I have 2 new designs available on T-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, & mousepads...check them out.
I got dragged to see Red Planet last night...Don't see this movie...Val Kilmer sucks and so did this movie.
Why has the film industry decided that the Matrix chick was someone worth having in a movie? She's definitely not eye candy, maybe if she showed the goods?... -BT November 17th, 2000 I was sad to hear that Joe C. died Thursday. He seemed like someone who didn't deserve his disease or his early death. Read the MTV news report for more information. Rumors have been going around that Rob Van Dam has quit ECW. That would be a great move for him as he is one of the best performers out there and would do well somewhere else. ECW truly is a shitty company and I'm glad that they still don't have a new television deal. For those not familiar with RVD as a wrestler, he will have a major part in Black Mask 2 that just finished filming. Speaking of masks, you can find some cool ones at High Spots. I saw Arnold's new movie The Sixth Day tonight. It was really good, probably better than anything he's done since True Lies in 1994. My one and only complaint was that they decided to use laser guns instead of real guns with real bullets. I think that when you're trying to convince an audience that futuristic concepts like cloning a human are a possibility, that maybe the more real elements you have in the movie the better. But thats really my only minor complaint. Also, the XFL was promoted prominently early on in the movie. Good for Vince McMahon, I guess having Arnold on Smackdown last year to promote End of Days helped in achieving this...that, or they just paid a lot of money for the product placement. Freakylinks is one of my favorite new shows on tv. It airs Friday nights and you should check it out if you can...set your tivo or vcr if you actually have a life and value your Fridays for more than tubewatching...they also have a cool little website.
The Dolphins and Jets are having their divisional bloodbath rematch Sunday at 4:00.
Even with Zach Thomas still inactive, look for the Jets to have their asses handed to them in Miami's hometown. FSU and the Gators have a huge game today. Regardless that both of my parents are Gators from way-back, I hate those goddamn Seminoles. Ever go into a bar when a FSU game is on?...their alumni mostly consist of annoying fucking losers that couldn't get into the real state school. Florida is THE STATE for football though. Our schools are ranked 2, 3, and 4 right now and have had so many great talents from Emmit Smith and Dieon Sanders to Ron Simmons (WWF's Farooq) join the NFL. It almost seems like more than half of the superstars in the NFL today graduated from FSU, Gainesville, or Miami. The Dolphins (the only undefeated team ever) and Buccaneers are kicking ass this year, and even the Jaguars have been great since their inception year...okay, not this year though. Even some of the smaller schools like UCF have produced phenomenal players like that 9th wonder of the world man-child Daunte Culpepper. There's also a big WWF pay-per-view called Survivor Series on Sunday night with some good matches lined up for it.
All in all, this weekend is shaping up to being a real couch-dweller's dream. -BT November 17th, 2000
Minnesota governor Jessee "the body" Ventura has been picked as a commentator for the new XFL football games on NBC as an analyst.
This will be a much better choice than the one made by ABC in selecting Dennis Miller for the NFL Monday night games. Obviously this will also be a phenomenal opportunity for Ventura to increase his already staggering presence as a household name in regards to his political career. The XFL should be extremely interesting and hopefully it will succeed. They have some great ideas and the subtle rule changes should work well with the speed and attitude that the NFL is currently lacking. Football is the sport of kings, and as we've already seen in wrestling, any real competition can only be a good thing for the NFL. Yes, that's Xena on the right from her famous rendition of the national anthem. I like Xena. Maxim Magazine is one of my favorite magazines and its one of the few magazines I have a subscription for. The online magazine is cool too. They had mentioned a few interesting sites that might be worth visiting... STUFF ONLINE MAGAZINE -maxim's sister magazine. OBERHOFER HAND-CRAFTED COMPUTERS -computers made of wood. NEXT PLANET OVER -online comic book & collectibles store DOG DOO.COM -they mail dogshit anonymously to your ex-girlfriend, worst enemy, whoever.
The X-Men movie comes out on DVD in 5 days!. -BT November 16th, 2000 Great Howard Stern show this morning. Mick Foley (A.K.A. Cactus Jack & Mankind) was on plugging his new children-oriented book with great illustrations by fellow wrestler Jerry 'the king' Lawler. I am guessing Foley will be doing signings for his book so keep an eye out for him appearing at a bookstore near you. Then Arnold Schwarzenegger was on plugging his new movie The 6th Day which I've actually heard lots of great things about. Anything's got to be better than that turd Little Nicky. Here are 4 photos I just found of me with Playboy Playmate Susie Owens... (photo 1) (photo 2) (photo 3) (photo 4) I got to meet her when I worked for the comic book store (yeah, yeah) and we had her come down for a store signing. You can't see her body well in these pictures so click here to see more pics and to read about her. The GUNT. I was reading stileproject.com today and he commented on a chick that was asking him to put their webcam on his site. They had sent him pictures which he posted for readers to view. He commented on her having a cunt belly. Through my remedial anatomy lessons I got from hanging out at the Ale House on Thursday nights, I learned the true name for this part of the female body. If he's talking about what I'm thinking about, its called the GUNT and its basically a second smaller gut below the main belly and above the cunt. Eventually, this will be a common medical term doctors will use when referring to it in their medical journals. I always feel the need to keep people hip on the terminology.
One day we'll touch upon the great and mysterious donkeypunch and donkeypunching in general. -BT November 15th, 2000 I now have all the T-shirt designs up for direct and immediate purchase. The prices have been reduced for the holidays while the new system is tested. Also, most of the images are available on several different shirt types as well as on 2 different sized ceramic mugs and mousepads. Geddy Lee has a new album that came out Tuesday. You can listen to some samples and even buy it HERE or HERE. Rush is one of my favorite bands along with STP and a few other newer bands like the Foo Fighters. Hopefully, Neil has dealt with his personal tragedies and they'll have a new Rush album completed sometime next year. Did you see the band Offspring gave a million dollars away to a 14 year-old girl yesterday on MTV's TRL?
Could that new Barenaked Ladies song "pinch me" be any more gay? -BT |
