Boy oh boy, the surprises keep on coming... I had even gone online to see what, if any surprises, would be on Monday night's show. I was amazed they were able to keep Eric Bischoff a surprise up until the minute he appeared on camera. Although I do think that a lot of WWE fans have no clue who this man is even though he revolutionized professional wrestling. The WWE really did miss the boat in not bringing him in when they tried to use and incorporate the WCW brand a year ago. Is it my imagination, or is he about ten times fatter than in either of these 2 pictures I have posted that I had taken with him several years ago? Well, let's hope that this means that he was brought in not only to be a great onscreen character, but also as an idea man to help turn the current WWE product on its ear and become entertaining again.

With Vince McMahon, Paul Heyman, and Eric Bischoff all working on the same product, maybe something can happen to grow that viewership back up to the glory days when all 3 of these guys were directly competing with one another and we had WWF, WCW, and ECW shows on television every week... and 2-3 pay-per-views to buy every month...and ratings up in the 6 and 7's instead of the 3's. Weird how ratings during a time of no direct competition are half of what they were when there was fierce competition. Let's hope his ideas are met with a little better reception than Vince Russo's were last month. Its evident who was right in the Russo/Bischoff disagreement over Hogan with the new Hulkamania in the WWE... Maybe Easy-E could have saved the nWo if he'd come a month or two sooner.

For those of you interested in the OBEY GIANT propaganda artwork, posters, and stickers, I just got an email (I assume I am on their mail list) announcing a new OBEY GIANT Retrospective gallery showing during August and September.

OK people, My life may be so pathetically sad and empty these days that I actually enjoy reading some of the emails, links, information, etc. that you send to me. But some of you make no sense...

What the hell is this guy talking about? What pictures does he want me to send? Spend an extra minute and read over your emails before you send them and make sure that they make sense. Because if they're nonsensical like this one, in the trash they go without my doing whatever it is you wanted of me (that you couldn't accurately and effectively articulate). I'm also REALLY not interested in being exposed to your gay agendas and interests as exampled in the following email...

Subject: norman smiley

hi i enjoyed your photos ..do you happen to have one of norman smiley where he showing his enlarged crotch. he is always showing it off in wrestling matches but i have not seen a photo with him doing it. thankyou richard in texas

I hid his full email as I really don't need to be found an accessory to any future hate crimes... And I don't mean to burn a bridge, as this guy has actually bought a few autographs from me before (one guess as to whose autographs those were). While I don't mind him emailing me, I may not need to be hearing from him (or anyone fro that matter) about such subjects as some wrestler's overripe fruit basket...

I'm a really big fan of Norman's and I'm happy that he's wrestling (but doing job's a lot) on television again fairly regularly in those NWATNA pay-per-views. He's really a good talent and was always really over with the fans in WCW...more than A LOT of the other big names there. I wonder more and more why the WWE passed on some of these guys from WCW. By the way, you people need to start watching these weekly PPV shows if you aren't already... There's enough big stars like Scott Hall, Jeff Jarrett, Sabu, and Ken Shamrock along with the best of the Indy performers and MIDGETS, MIDGETS, MIDGETS! They have consistently (for 5 straignt weeks now) put on a really great alternative product to the WWE, and more than worth the 10 bucks every Wednesday. I am such a shill.

First and foremost, we are running an evolving superfluous summer spectacular sale. To kick-start this sale, we'll be selling all of the cafepress headgear (caps, hats, and visors) for $3.00 less than they're usually priced...until July 21st. Its summer, If you don't have a hat, you're going to need one...If you do have one, it probably is filthy smelling like funky ass from all of the sweat you've soaked it with, so go and buy another.

The nWo can't catch a break. Scott Hall has no self-control, Hogan went babyface, and Kevin Nash is falling apart piece-by-piece. They bring in Shawn Michaels, who apparently won't ever be wrestling. So all we have left to work with is a fat useless pile of slow, boring, (did I already say useless?) crap called Big Show, who I guarantee is well on his way to eating himself right out of a job. And then there's X-Pac...Who is a good enough wrestler, but sucks hard donkey on the microphone, and from the online reports X-Pac is on the Shawn Michaels express to becoming the Mayor of Crippleville with his own back problems. Can this still be salvaged? Not the way WWE handles storylines.

As a fan, I feel it was a major mistake to bring Shawn Michaels onto TV if he's not going to wrestle. I hate seeing him just stand there and ramble on...the guy in the audience last night said it best when he yelled "get to the point". I was under the impression he'd be wrestling again, but to have him ringside just to pull shenanigans every night has already gotten old. Also, Shawn disciplining those who can wrestle...like when he kicked Booker T and Big Show in the mouths doesn't work too well either unless he can back that kind of talk up in the ring.

Where's Kanyon? And when's he coming back? And with all his time off couldn't he update his website more often? Better yet, where's Steiner or Goldberg? And why haven't they been signed yet? Steiner can't be as big of a health risk as Nash has been (drop foot syndrome my ass). Where's Sting? I'd bet his Jesus-morals have a price surprisingly lower than you'd think... just rent his soul from him for a year or two with an option to buy and put him back in the ring. I'm just so damn frustrated that I had to go ice my head to prevent having a Bret Hart-sized stroke. I know that only having the use of my right side could get extremely boring really fast... especially if the pants-optional rule remains in effect at my house.

WORST MATCH EVER award should go to that Tough Enough II chick Jackie... She is pretty hot though. But why they let her wrestle so soon is just amazingly stupid. They're usually so good about having talent get their rhythm in the affiliated territories and dark matches before televising clusters like that mixed tag match. I still personally haven't even seen Nidia from the first Tough Enough wrestle yet and you know she probably has much better in-ring instincts just from having several month's more experience. And one last thing about that match, Why are they dressing Bradshaw up like a jackass again? Oh, and what happened to Ron Simmons (Farooq)? Did he fall off the planet?

This crap makes me really miss the good 'ol days when there were 3 major wrestling companies putting weekly wrestling shows on TV. After that segment with Heyman and Dreamer in Philly, I really miss ECW. I think poor production killed them way before they deserved to go. If only they could have put on their shows even half as well as the new NWATNA weekly PPV shows are presented. They've got something going for them...I'm not sure what that "something" is yet, but signing Vince Russo (which they just did) will probably help. In honor of ECW, here are some links to visit:

Right off the bat, I'm actually putting up a plug request at the risk of sending you away from this website after just getting here. I guess its okay since none of you ever spend money on my great merchandise or autographs anyway. Here was the email I got:

Dear Webmaster,

Because of your influence in the wrestling world, I wanted to get your help in promoting a new movie about wrestling. It's called "Reversal," and it's based on a true story. About a coach who trained his son to be a champion in the competitive world of high school wrestling.

Olympic gold-medalist Kurt Angle whole-heartedly endorses the movie -- in fact it is featured prominently on every page of his site. Oklahoma U coach Jack Spates also gives the movie two "enthusiastic" thumbs up. Wrestling/boxing legend Danny Hodge is behind it 100%, as are Olympic champions Kendall Cross and Kenny Monday.

I am writing you to see if you would be interested in setting up reciprocal links.

You can check out our site at:

http://www.reversalthemovie.com

You'll get all the information there, including a movie trailer. We've also created several easy ways to help you link to the site:

http://www.reversalthemovie.com/more-linking.html

We'd be happy to link back to you, to direct people to your site, as well. Please e-mail your response and/or any questions to:

linkmanager@reversalthemovie.com

or call us any time. We look forward to working with you!

Warm regards,

Michael Caroff
Webmaster

Since this link won't require you to spend any money, maybe you'll visit their website and at least watch the 8-minute trailer (full of Kurt Angle's testimonial about this film). Spread the word about their movie, link it on your website as well, or just remember to go see the film or rent the tape...Below is their very pretty banner for you to click...

Boy, I really haven't had the urge to do much work on this website for a long time now. Not only has it never been a profitable effort owning, updating, and maintaining this website, but what's worse is dealing with the handful of crap-nozzles out there that email or IM me with the intention of completely wasting my time. At least let me get some entertainment out of you while you're being a complete tool. Instead I only hear from the most boring and lame of you out there and I get zero use out of it.

Don't mistake this for whiny-crybaby complaining. I'll always toil away here even if it becomes only a once-a-month effort. Unlike that bitch Chris Jericho. He's got a commentary on his website posted on June 24th in which he shows his vagina and menstruates all over himself in a petulant little display. If that page changes, I've copied, pasted, and saved his commentary as a word document here to ensure stupidity like this isn't ever forgotten or lost. Doesn't he understand that your detractors and nay-sayers are always ten-times more vocal? Who does he think he's punihing anyway? This only makes those who don't like him (like me) happy... He's only punishing his fans, followers, and supporters by his actions and "screw all of you" attitude. Besides Chris, your match that night was slow and ponderous... everything looked odd and I even turned to my friend after the first few minutes and said how I thought this match was bad and looked like it was an off night for both he and RVD.

I've always given Jericho the respect he deserves as an athlete, wrestler, and entertainer in spite of the bad feelings I have for him as a person. But I do strongly believe that if he wants to make it into the upper echelon and stay there, he needs to grow up and start acting like an adult... and for god's sake, lose those flabby love-handles you've been wearing like an intercontinental title belt. The spare tire look isn't in fashion for WWE champions these days. Again, those comments can be read at miserablewrestlingvagina.com, and they're worth reading to see the "innocent victim" of internet critic terrorists in a more realistic light.

Since it has pained me of late to actually write about wrestling on a wrestling website, I will try to do better in the future or at least make this website about something else... maybe a site full of mpegs of my dog eating peanut butter would be more interesting. But on one last wrestling note, I have been lobbying for months to get HHH into the nWo and after another month or two of them saying yes, and him saying no, we'll maybe finally get that heel turn out of him.

Congratulations to Charlton G. for doing his best at entering his name for the random drawing... he gave 100% and actually did it! He won the signed 8X10 of the Rock through sheer grit and strength of will. One can only admire his tenacity and the staying power it took to overcome all the others and win this random drawing. Refer to the top of the page to see the next autograph we're giving away.
